Job description

We are looking for an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Tech Lead to join our team. You are a self organizing team player with excellent problem solving and communication skills. You will be well-rounded, with a solid understanding of best practices and methodologies to design and implement the best solution. As a senior member of our team, you will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle including requirement specification, use case and data modeling, technical design, development, testing, and implementation. This role will be focused on delivering assigned tasks and/or specific tracks of the solution on time, escalating issues when appropriate as well as educating and supporting others in the form of code reviews, workshops, and documentation. Additionally, you will provide thought guidance and support the growth of junior team members.

The work

  • Lead in the software design, development, and implementation using AEM and Adobe best practices
  • Provide deep knowledge expertise in AEM and working knowledge of at least one other Adobe Experience Cloud products (Target, Campaign, Analytics, Audience Manager, Forms)
  • Perform hands-on coding of templates, components, dialogs, workflows, models, and services, OSGi services, optimization of dispatcher caching behavior
  • Provide strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration and performance testing
  • Provide advanced-level development and documentation skills, including identifying non functional requirements and compliance with web accessibility standards
  • Assist with the estimation of development tasks, project planning, risk identification and mitigation planning
  • Assist in defining/designing/implementing the development architecture leveraging CI/CD principles
  • Strong acumen and ability to understand and deliver on client expectations
  • Strong ability to identify and proactively resolve issues impacting delivery
  • Interface with clients and business owners as needed during the design and implementation
  • Provide thought support and guidance on the latest technology trends and approaches
  • Showcase your AEM expertise by supporting/educating others on the functional and technical capabilities
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, ensure software developed adheres to best practices and quality standards through code and design reviews
Here\'s what you need
  • 5+ Years of experience with the full cycle of AEM implementations using version 6.3+ (AEM component development, DAM, workflow development, Schedulers, Metadata & Tag Management plus integrating AEM with other applications)
  • 8+ years of front-end development using React, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • 8+ years of software development experience using Java/J2EE, Apache Sling, Spring, TDD and related frameworks
  • 3+ years executing projects using Agile Methodologies
Bonus points if
  • Expert in integration with third party and other Adobe solutions using REST APIs
  • Expertise with AEM Multi Site Manager and security best practices
  • Experience with migrating multilingual, multi-regions web sites from other CMS into AEM
  • Experience with headless implementation using AEM
  • Expertise in advanced dispatcher and CDN (Akamai preferred) caching strategies
  • Proficient in build automation using Maven and Maven release process
