About the Opportunity

We are looking for an
Advisor, Recruitment
to join our Corporate Centerra team for a fixed-term 12-month contract. This is a
remote
position located within Canada.
Reporting to the Senior Advisor, Recruitment, this role executes targeted recruitment campaigns, participates in job fairs and community outreach, and manages the interview and selection process. The Advisor plays a key role in building talent pipelines for critical roles, ensuring the company can meet staffing demands for operational continuity, site restarts, and expansion projects.
In this role, you will also be responsible for delivering full-cycle recruitment support for corporate functions and North American site operations, with a strong emphasis on proactive sourcing and candidate engagement.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Execute full-cycle recruitment processes for corporate and site positions across North America, from requisition creation to candidate onboarding.
Utilize and leverage a variety of sourcing methods such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, industry-specific job boards, talent databases, social media, and networking events, to identify and engage both active and passive candidates.
Promote our open positions and Company brand as an employer of choice by coordinating and participating in job fairs, open houses, and community engagement events to increase applicant engagement.
Screen resumes, conduct phone and video interviews, and provide qualified candidate shortlists to hiring managers.
Coordinate interview logistics, gather feedback, and facilitate timely decision-making.
Manage job postings, ensure accurate position descriptions, and maintain applicant tracking system data.
Support the creation of recruitment marketing materials in collaboration with the Senior Advisor, Talent Acquisition.
Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Ad hoc projects as assigned.
About You

The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:
Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years recruiting experience; previous mining or heavy industry experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity and experience with ATS, HRIS (SuccessFactors or Scout preferred) Computer aptitude and proficient in MS Office required.
Experience with external job boards and sites (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.) and talent sourcing tactics, such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills.
Confidence & strong presentation/communication skills to represent the Company at career fairs and information sessions.
Ability to build strong relationships and interact effectively with all levels and multiple functions.
Strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle flexible hours and occasional travel.
