As a member/client service advisor - sales, you help solicit and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You provide customer service and help sell specialized products and services through multiple distribution channels based on member/client needs.
You help build and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You drive results by reviewing information requests for specialized products and services and promoting and selling them based on client needs and your unit's business objectives and strategies.
You ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality in accordance with the organization's standards and procedures. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.
General Information on the Position
The Student Advice Centre manages Quebec government-guaranteed student loans for Desjardins members. It also offers products and services adapted to their needs.
More specifically, the advisors receive calls, accompany members and clients according to their needs, conduct research, analyze and process files, while adapting a first-rate advisory approach that exceeds their expectations.

Main responsibilities
Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current or potential needs and promoting customer retention. Advise members and clients on the specialized products and services offered and ensure their satisfaction.
Take charge of the needs of the clientele, gather and analyze information and process the requests by ensuring the required follow-ups.
Provide support to members and clients, listen to their needs and recommend a solution that meets their expectations.
Participate in the identification of operational risks and in the search for continuous improvement in relation to the activities of your unit.
Keep abreast of new developments related to standards, products or services in your field of activity.
Other working conditions
Schedule: 35 hours per week (available days and evenings Monday through Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.)

Qualifications
General college diploma in accounting, secretariat or in a related field
A minimum of one year of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Good knowledge of computers and data entry
