The

Advisor, Labour Relations

?is a key differentiator for PASS. In that the position is accountable for ensuring that our employees are being supported in a manner that is consistent with best practices, policies and procedures outlined by PASS's Corporate People & Culture Department. In addition to day-to-day labour relations in compliance with our collective agreements with a large union in the Vancouver location, the Advisor, Labour Relations is also responsible for the following functions:



Provide guidance and support to management on disciplinary matters, collective agreement application, grievance resolutions and arbitration preparation across the Pacific Region Communicate effectively with employees and management to identify problems and resolve conflicts Conduct investigations in response to employee complaints and provide appropriate resolutions Work closely with several cross functional departments across the Pacific Region Support the representation of management in the Collective Bargaining process Deliver coaching and training programs on collective agreements, employee relations issues such as respectful workplace, conflict management, and investigations Be the subject matter expert on the collective agreements Collaborate with People & Culture Team to update and maintain the employee handbook and other HR policies and procedures Participate in the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives Support the Employee Care and People & Culture Teams with projects or initiatives, as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:





Bachelor's degree in labour relations, human resources, or related field CPHR/CRHA designation is an asset 3+ years of experience in labour relations or related field Experience in collective bargaining, grievance procedures, and dispute resolution Familiar with Federal labour laws and regulations Experience working with labour unions Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Excellent leadership and management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities Ability to acquire Transportation Security Clearance (TSC) and eligibility for Federal Security Clearance Travel may be required to other airports in the region.?

Salary: $75,000 - 85,000



Work Location: This position is based at Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
