We are currently seeking an experienced Advisor, Organizational Development. Reporting to the Manager OD, the Advisor works collaboratively within the department and across the organization to support the integration of enterprise-wide culture impacting change initiatives. The project work is comprehensive, and integrated with the work of other areas. The successful incumbent will be working in a provincial team and connecting with people across the organization. They will support projects of significant magnitude. They will apply their expertise with an eye on achieving the objectives outlined in Our People Strategy and the Patient First Strategy. Description:

Organizational Development is a program area that resides within the People Experience team and the Talent Management Strategies Centre of Expertise. The Advisor is a professional role accountable for supporting managers and operational teams in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of key projects within Talent Management Strategies. The challenge is the ability to manage multiple projects at a time, with competing priorities and a variety of project leaders. The incumbent uses their project management expertise alongside their understanding of operational requirements, to draw together the resources needed to meet the multiple initiatives' objectives. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure successful completion of assigned projects in support of business objectives and Our People Strategy deliverables. The incumbent will be converting planning into pragmatic action and tools. They incorporate evidence, best practice and a systematic approach into their planning and: Establish effective initiative / project structures and business processes that leverage technical expertise and stakeholder contributions. Identify and manage risk, schedule, scope and budget as well as appropriate reporting. Ensure projects are progressing on schedule, within budget and approved design plan, and to coordinate the phase-in of project components. Create and implement solutions to issues / problems that may be non-standard and arise throughout the project. Anticipate, investigate and analyze complex and potentially sensitive issues, and develop recommendations for improvement in discussion with stakeholders. Identify and analyze performance indicators, monitor key project milestones. Lead quality improvement initiatives. Write formal communications.

Required Qualifications:

5 years in Human Resources and/or an Organizational Development and/or Talent Management Strategies Centre of Expertise. Proven project management experience. Please Note: To ensure your skills and qualifications are considered please attach a resume and cover letter with your application.

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP Certified. PROSCI certification. BA in Organizational Development, or Business Administration. Certification in: Human Resources; Adult Education; Change Management; Project Management and/or Business Writing. Membership in good standing in professional association. Experience managing enterprise-wide projects which involved both system and behavior change in a large and complex organization. Experience with communication methodologies.
