Key Duties:
Lead multi-day adventure tours, ensuring safety, quality, and guest satisfaction.
Mentor, supervise, and evaluate guides; provide training and performance feedback.
Assess and improve tour procedures, logistics, and guest experiences.
Prepare itineraries, guide manuals, and guest materials.
Coordinate bookings for accommodation, transportation, meals, and activities.
Order, maintain, and track outdoor/camping equipment.
Compile tour reports and feedback for operational improvements.
Foster teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication among staff.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and partners.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
Employment Requirements
Post-secondary education in tourism, hospitality, business management, or equivalent experience.
2-3 years of experience in adventure tourism, tour operations, or supervisory/management roles.
Fluency in English and German (spoken and written) is mandatory
; French is an additional asset.
Leadership and mentoring experience.
Strong organizational, social, and office skills; able to work in both office and field environments.
Wilderness First Aid/CPR and risk management training are assets.
Must be able to commute to the office near Edmonton during winter months.
