Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Professional Practice, the Advanced Practice Nurse Educator (APNE) is an integral member of the interdisciplinary leadership team and demonstrates a set of core competencies fundamental to developing and maintaining the academic practice environment at UHN.
The APNE aligned with the Operating Room is a member of the Surgical Services leadership team and Practice-Based Education team within the Collaborative Academic Practice portfolio. The APNE role involves enhancing patient care by applying evidence-based practices, providing clinical consultation, and addressing gaps in practice.
