OFA 3 Advanced First Aid Security Officers

to support a variety of client sites with flexible shift coverage -- including

on-call,

day, afternoon, overnight, weekends.

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable, professional, and adaptable security officers with

valid OFA Level 3 certification

or completed the EMR course

to join our growing team. This role involves site patrols, incident response, clear communication, and the ability to act confidently during emergencies. Prior experience in construction or warehouse security is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol & Site Monitoring

Conduct thorough, scheduled patrols to detect security threats, safety hazards, or unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and restricted areas; enforce site-specific safety protocols.

Incident & Emergency Response

Respond swiftly and appropriately to incidents such as trespassing, disturbances, medical emergencies, or theft. Administer first aid as needed in accordance with OFA Level 3/EMR certification coordination with emergency services.

Communication & Documentation

Maintain active communication with dispatch, site supervisors, and other team members. Complete detailed and accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, and safety observations.

Shift Flexibility & Coverage

Be available for various shifts, including

on-call,

days, afternoon, overnights, weekends.

Support on-call and emergency shift coverage when required. Ensure self and team are properly uniformed and compliant with PPE protocols.

Requirements

Valid Basic Security Training - BST License

- Required

Valid Occupational First Aid Level 3 (OFA 3) Certification or completed EMR course- Required

Excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to remain alert and calm under pressure Strong work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism Prior experience on

construction sites or in warehouse security

Willingness to travel locally to various sites - Preferred*
