Tasks

Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team Coordinate patient care Evaluate patient care and progress Interpret medical test results Order medical diagnostic or clinical tests Perform diagnostic tests Plan patient care Provide primary, full-course, care to women and their babies during pregnancy, labour, birth and the post-natal period including monitoring the health of mother and baby Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures Conduct patient interviews, physical assessments and take medical histories Provide health maintenance education
