Fredericton, NB E3B 2L8 Adult Therapy Clinician Who We Are Balance Clinic is a busy multi-disciplinary psychology practice specializing in individual and group therapy, workshops, psycho-educational and psychological and neuro-developmental assessments across the lifespan. We are a welcoming and inclusive space, and we serve a variety of populations. Position type: Part-time contract (possibility of full-time)
Location: In person at the clinic Description We are looking to add a full-time clinician to provide individual and group therapy for adults, including parenting support. Core Skills and Qualifications
- Licensed Psychologist or Masters level counsellor
- Works from a trauma-informed lens
- Trainings in best practice modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
- EMDR certification is an asset
- Ability to always maintain confidentiality, sensory awareness, and cultural sensitivity
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Bilingualism is an asset
- Day shift
- Master\'s Degree (preferred)
- counselling/psychology: 2 years (preferred)
