Job Description
The Health Research Network, based at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI), is seeking a Research Assistant to contribute to our patient-oriented research programs within a multi-disciplinary healthcare environment. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the conduct of a clinical trial, working closely with the Research Coordinator, faculty members, and physicians.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect, organize, and manage research data from the Queen Street Medical Clini Conduct participant interviews to assess study eligibility Coordinate scheduling, communication, and logistics related to research activities Maintain accurate, confidential, and well-documented records of research data, methods, and outcomes Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and manuscripts for publication or internal use Collaborate with the Research Coordinator to ensure timely and effective completion of study tasks Assist with other research projects within the Health Research Network Participate in Health Research Network Team Meetings
QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful completion of an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences or a related field Reliable transportation between UPEI campus and the Queen Street Medical Clinic Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a research team * Strong written and verbal communication skills
