Admin/logistics Assistant

Job Description

Responsibility:
Generation and processing of shipping items

Preparation of export documentation

Prioritize shipments paperwork

Verification accuracies of part numbers, coding and documentation

Filing of all shipment information as well as system updating

Provides administrative support and completion of shipping forms

Connect with load yard, shipping forwarders

Coordinate with financial institution for the doc process

Record finance charge related to export documents in ERP system

Process all duties related to Letter of Credit

Sort and Store end files

Other logistics duties as required

Requirements:
2+ years' experience in a similar role, logistic or accounting background are preferred
College education in related field preferred
Thorough and accurate data entry skills
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient communication skills, verbal and written

Location: Downtown Vancouver

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
