We are seeking a detail-oriented Processor to join our dynamic team. The role of the Processor is to provide day-to-day processing and administrative support to the Auditors and Operations Manager. The Processor is primarily responsible for reviewing, organizing, and verifying financial data and receipts, and ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and submission of rebate applications and supporting schedules. The Processor will be a member of the Processing Team, reporting to the Operations Manager, and consulting with the Auditors and Operations Manager as required.
Duties
Adhere to internal policies and procedures in the execution of all assigned duties
Receive, review, and organize financial data, records and receipts
Perform auditing tasks to verify accuracy and completeness of financial information
Input, organize and maintain data in spreadsheets and required auditing software
Prepare rebate applications, schedules, and supporting documentation in accordance with CRA requirements and prescribed deadlines
Prepare and organize documents and receipts for submission by mail and courier
Prepare on-line rebate claim submissions as required
Scan, upload, and store documents in the electronic database
Collaborate with the Processing Team by sharing duties as scheduled and providing coverage for absences and peak periods.
Perform other duties as assigned from time to time
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products, or similar accounting software is essential.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Familiarity with accounts payable processes and account reconciliation techniques.
Solid bookkeeping skills with attention to detail for accuracy in all tasks.
