Weagant Farm Supplies Ltd. is a well-established family business of approximately 40 staff across two Kubota dealerships in Eastern Ontario. We are committed to excellent customer service, strong community values and a professional and supportive work environment.

We are looking for an Administrator, Payroll & Finance who will report to the Finance Manager and round out the finance and administration team. This position would suit someone who is dynamic and detail-oriented and enjoys working as part of a cohesive team.

Duties include:



Full bi-weekly payroll function ensuring all employees receive applicable wages and benefits, and deductions and contributions are made per schedule Work with HR and the Finance Manager to administer group benefits: health & medical, employee assistance & RRSP programs Complete, store, and maintain all payroll records and information according to governing legislation and for audit purposes Reconcile payroll accounts regularly through general ledger accounting practices, including account reconciliation and journal entries. Bank reconciliations Assist with year-end reconciliation and reports Journal entries and month-close support Whole goods invoicing to support the AP team Administration of accounts receivable and cross-trained on accounts payables Additional duties as provided/supported by the Finance Manager

Skills & Experience



Experience with payroll and bank reconciliation is required Strong understanding of accounting principles including general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, debits & credits, and journal entries. Experience with MS Excel and excellent computer skills in general Strong organizational and communication skills Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
This is an-in person position in Winchester, Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm.

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
