Position Summary

The Administrator Care and Services provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality care and operational excellence across all programs and services. This position requires strong administrative expertise, proven leadership skills, and the ability to guide and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare setting. The Administrator Care and Services is also responsible for maintaining compliance with organizational policies, professional standards, and all relevant legislation.



Key Responsibilities



Drive a patient-centered, forward-facing approach by establishing policies, systems, and oversight practices that ensure care delivery remains responsive, compassionate, and aligned with the needs of patients and families. Provide leadership and oversight to care teams, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. Develop, implement, and monitor administrative processes to improve effectiveness and service delivery. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, quality assurance standards, and organizational policies. Collaborate with the Executive Director and senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans. Oversee reporting, budgeting, and resource allocation within assigned areas. Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of care staff. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Serve as a key point of communication between leadership and care teams, ensuring clear and timely dissemination of information. Promote safe, ethical, and inclusive practices aligned with human rights and equity principles.

Qualifications



Bachelor's or master's degree in a medical or health-related discipline (e.g., Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or other recognized professional program). Membership in the corresponding professional regulatory body or association in good standing is required. Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership or administrative experience in a healthcare or care-focused setting. Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, standards, and best practices. Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and operations effectively. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
