Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Diagnostic Imaging Manager, the Clerical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clerical team, including reception and booking functions. This role ensures administrative services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with Alberta Health Services' mission and policies. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Support: Supervise clerical staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. Onboarding & Training: Coordinate orientation and ongoing education for new and existing staff to maintain service excellence. Process & Policy Management: Implement and monitor policies and procedures for reception, booking, transcription, and film/electronic library functions. Systems Expertise: Maintain proficiency in RIS, HIS, PACS, and Netcare; ensure staff competency in these systems. Compliance & Quality: Monitor adherence to provincial, zone, and departmental standards; provide re-education as needed. Collaboration & Communication: Act as a resource for staff, liaise with other hospital departments, and foster a positive, respectful work environment.
