Aplin has partnered with a Vancouver-based company to hire an Administrative Assistant for a Mortgage group!If you have a great attitude, willingness to learn & previous experience in administration, this 3 month contract may be the one for you!Responsibilities:

  • Support the mortgages team by assisting with administrative tasks and document management.
  • Handle investor mortgages, particularly those involving large RRSP accounts used for lending to private individuals.
  • Review and manage a substantial volume of paperwork related to mortgage transactions.
  • Ensure all necessary documents are accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Verify that all provincial rules and regulations are adhered to in mortgage documentation.
  • Perform detailed document reviews to ensure compliance and completeness.
  • Maintain organized records of all mortgage-related paperwork and correspondence.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to gather necessary information and provide updates.
  • Assist in preparing reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Provide administrative support to facilitate smooth and efficient mortgage processing.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all sensitive financial information.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure all administrative requirements are met.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of mortgage-related materials and communications.
Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle a substantial volume of paperwork.
  • Knowledge of provincial rules and regulations related to mortgages.
  • Proficiency in document management and administrative tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with mortgage processes and documentation.
  • Experience in administrative support roles, preferably in the financial or real estate sector.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Proficiency with office software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Must be able to start at 7:30am!
