McCain Fertilizer, a Division of McCain Produce Inc, is a leading distributer of crop inputs, including blended fertilizer, crop protection products and other related inputs, with multiple locations in Atlantic Canada and the State of Maine.
We are currently seeking an Administrative Support resource at our New Perth blending facility for the period of April to September. The incumbent will work closely with the Office Administrator.
Key Responsibilities:

• Take orders from growers & work with production to deliver the orders timely & accurately
• Data Entry
• Completing Sales Orders
• Maintaining and balancing daily reports
• Weighing trucks
• Other clerical duties as assigned

The Ideal candidate would possess:

• Good customer service and organizational skills
• Must have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Detailed oriented and dependable
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook
• Strong communication skills and work well in a small team environment
• Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency
• Previous office experience considered an asset
• Ability to work flexible extended hours
• Work experience or background in agriculture also considered an asset
• This position would be suitable for a student with pertinent skills to the job
• Previous office experience and an agricultural background would be an asset
