Your Opportunity:This position will be located onsite in the Immunization Booking Office. This position is responsible for the booking of casual nurses and casual administrative support staff into various sites throughout the Edmonton Zone to support Mass Immunization Programs and any other areas within Community Health Services as needed. The booking office responsibilities include but are not limited to scheduling staff while providing a high level of customer service, communicating with clinical and administrative support staff, data entry of availability and assigned shifts, generating reports and compiling statistics, maintaining the scheduling database and other general office support duties as required. Shift length is 7.75 hours and shifts times will range from 7:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. They will be on a 12-week schedule that includes day/evening/weekend shifts Monday thru Sunday. Candidates will be scheduled for all shift patterns as required.Description:As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications:Two years recent experience working in an office environment is required. Previous staffing/scheduling clerk experience is required. Experience creating various types of correspondence, reports and spreadsheets are required. Advanced level computer skills including proficiency with MS Office [Outlook, Excel and Word] are required. Must be physically able to sit, stand and bend for long periods of time. Must be physically able to lift up to 30lbs. Must be able to perform repetitive motions on a keyboard for long periods of time. Excellent written / oral communication skills are required. Effective interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and multi-tasking skills are required. Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail with high level of accuracy. Note: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a computer-based skills assessment test. Only those who pass the test with a passing mark of 80% or higher will be contacted for an interview. Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of TeleStaff and SharePoint is preferred. Experience within Community Health Services is an asset. Solid understanding of Collective Agreements (UNA/AUPE) is preferred. Must be self-motivated and able to set priorities, balance workload and meet deadlines.
