Your Opportunity:

Willow Square Continuing Care Centre in Fort McMurray is looking to fill a Transitional Unit Administrator. This role will assist with patient transitions from the hospital to Willow Square and from Willow Square to the community. To help facilitate the transition you will use your strong communication skills while working with other programs and services. Your day will include support to the manager by screening calls, correspondence, booking appointments, organizing meetings, preparations of materials and recording minutes/actions items. You will require strong Microsoft office skills and the confidence to work with tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and at times a very busy workload. The team at Willow Square team provides a family atmosphere for the clients and staff alike and have celebrations together. AHS focuses on providing patient and family centered care. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an office setting. Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of a Medical Office Assistant course would be very helpful to carry out the duties required in this role. Strong Microsoft Office skills along with experience with different software systems, and the ability to efficiently manage digital communication and documentation. Must be able to communicate/articulate to patients, families, and team.
