Your Opportunity:

Training & Learning for Connect Care is a critical component of the successful implementation and adoption of the clinical information system and practice changes. The adoption of Connect Care significantly rests on the degree to which clinicians and leaders are supported with a meaningful education program with strong classroom educators. The Administrative Support IV \xe2\x80\x93 In Classroom Support - Connect Care, provides classroom support for end user training. This individual must be confident using technology and provide support to end-users in a classroom setting. The primary responsibility of the In Classroom Support (ICS) is to support the Credentialed Trainer (CT) during end-user training for a defined group of Connect Care roles using the curriculum designed by Senior Trainers and Clinical Informatics Education Leads. The ICS will assist with preparation of the classroom and assist with managing and seeking support as needed for any unexpected issues during the sessions such as technology or infrastructure concerns. They will also assist with end-user questions that that arise in the classroom and assist with end of class duties. The ICS ensures that all IT equipment is functioning to ensure there are no disruptions in the class. They will also be assisting in classes that may be pure virtual, virtual led, or face to face. During the launch phase of Connect Care, the ICS will provide at-the-elbow support for all end-users. There will also be travel required to other classroom location within the areas. Required Qualifications: Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications: Experience with health care technology and the ability to master new software programs. Experience in and knowledge of organizational/clinical workflows and practice. Experience facilitating, assisting, mentoring and or supporting colleagues. Experience managing and supporting various IT equipment such as setting up projector, laptops, audio devices. Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods with extended computer use. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Ability to travel to various classroom within the location to support end-user classes and launch of project. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of current clinical experience with Alberta Health Services. Experience working successfully in both collaborative and independent work settings. Experience promoting change processes in a positive, effective manner.
