Your Opportunity:The Administrative Support IV Admission position is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative functions, while interacting with a diverse population of colleagues and the public at the Northern Addictions Centre, which includes Residential Treatment, Residential Gambling Treatment, Detox, Adult Mental Health and Adult Outpatients Addictions. Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Administration, the incumbent is responsible for providing information regarding the NAC Treatment Program to the public, clients and employees of the Centre. The incumbent must be a responsible, self-motivated individual who is able to work both independently and as an integral member of a team and who is able to multi-task and work well under pressure. They must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), strong Microsoft Office computer skills and must be competent in the delivery of high-quality customer/client service. Some duties include but are not limited to: bed & calendar management, inputting client data into Connect Care, working closely with the Treatment Nurse & LPNs, composition of confidential information and communicating with incoming clients and their referrals. The incumbent will perform complex and diversified duties requiring independent judgment and confidentiality. Tasks must be completed with initiative, good organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment. An enthusiastic and positive attitude is essential to success in this position. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.Description:As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
