Your Opportunity:Functioning with a high level of independence and reporting to off-site Zone Manager (Manager, Public Health Population Health Promotion), the Health Promotion Assistant provides independent administrative support for Health Promotion Services staff and other AHS staff and community partners related to communication, coordination, implementation and evaluation of health promotion strategies. There are 20+ professional staff within the Population Health Promotion Program. Classifications range from Manager, Health Promotion Facilitators/Specialists, Low German Mennonite Representative to Oral Health Registered Hygienists/Assistants. Duties include: Initiate, updates and distributes pertinent health promotion information, data and correspondence; Organize and support health promotion related meetings and events; Participate in the development and implementation of Health Promotion initiatives, programs and services; Management of program resources and fleet vehicles.Description:As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
