Your Opportunity:Reporting to North Zone Population and Public Health Area Manager, the Administrative Support III is the initial contact for community health clients and provides ongoing support in the framework of a positive lifetime relationship with public health. The Administrative Support III is responsible for performing reception, registration, and appointment booking functions; operating the switchboard, maintaining health records and processing care visit documentation; maintaining integrity of health records databases. Other clerical duties to support a range of programs and services provided in the Public Health Centre. Scheduling appointments for client(s), book meetings, training and conference rooms when requested. Create agendas in consultation with Manager or Team Lead, record minutes in Teams and produce minutes documents accurately. Filing, completing forms, attaching labels, retrieving and returning records to filing system, transferring files, preparing files for archiving when entered into electronic health information system. Creating new files for new client(s) as appropriate. Assigning ULI\'s, completing class lists, coordinating with nurses for school procedures. May purchase supplies for programs, track Fleet vehicle reports, compile excel reports, community based programs may require staff to work in various locations for school and outreach immunization purposes.Description:As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:English language skills in reading, writing and oral communication, required previous experience in an office environment with in the last five (5) years, required accurate data entry/keyboarding skills, required ability to work with minimal supervision, required work well within a team environment, both locally and across multiple sites/programs, prioritize workload to meet established turnaround times, adhere to strict organizational policies, procedures and legislated requirements regarding patient confidentiality, handle frequent interruptions and still meet workload timelines, move and lift moderately (up to 30 pounds) heavy objects, required ability to operate basic office equipment, including fax, photocopier and personal computer. Preferred Qualifications:As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
