MacEwan University is seeking an Administrative Support III for a full-time continuing opportunity with the Office of Student Support and Accountability. You will provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Office of Student Support and Accountability while supporting 3 Student Conduct Officers and 1 Academic Integrity Facilitator in managing student conduct and academic integrity matters. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of these offices by performing various administrative tasks and providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Serving as the initial point of contact for students, faculty, and staff seeking information on student conduct processes and about academic integrity;
Maintaining accurate database of academic misconduct cases including confidential student records, conduct case files, sanctions, outcomes and activity reports;
Preparing and distributing communication, correspondence, outcome letters, notifications, and official documents;
Maintaining strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information, including records, reports, and communications;
Scheduling meetings, appointments, hearings and disciplinary proceedings for the Student Conduct Officers and Academic Integrity Facilitator;
Coordinating travel arrangements and processing expense reimbursements as needed;
Providing excellent customer service and professional communication to students and stakeholders involved in conduct and academic integrity matters;
Assisting in organizing and coordinating training sessions, workshops, or presentations related to student non-academic misconduct and academic integrity;
Responding to inquiries and providing information about conduct policies, procedures, and timelines;
Assisting the Academic Integrity Facilitator in managing academic integrity cases and related processes;
Receiving and reviewing reports of academic misconduct from faculty and staff;
When requested, compiling data and generating reports related to student conduct and academic integrity for administrative purposes;
When requested, assisting in analyzing data trends and patterns to support the improvement of student conduct and academic integrity programming; and
Providing back-up administrative coverage, as required, in other wellness and access areas.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders with a high degree of tact;
Exceptional customer service skills and a positive, professional manner;
Adeptness in dealing with complex situations related to student behaviour;
High level of skill demonstrating impeccable judgement when exposed to confidential documents and discussions;
The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
High ability to learn new software systems quickly and use tools efficiently; and
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a 2-year post-secondary diploma.
Administrative support experience in a student conduct and academic integrity office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with student conduct processes and academic integrity policies in a post-secondary environment would be considered an asset.
Experience working at a post-secondary institution would be considered an asset.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
