Your Opportunity:
As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within the Comprehensive Breast Care Program, supporting the clinical team in the coordination and navigation of patients from suspicion of breast cancer through diagnostic imaging, to surgery, and other cancer and breast health services. The incumbent will be working in a unique and, at times, highly emotional environment which requires a calm and patient demeanor. He/She will interact with a variety of staff, physicians, and public. This position requires an individual with a strong but professional attitude.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:
Successful completion of a post-secondary secretarial or administrative certificate from an approved business school/college; previous experience and related education will be considered. Two years recent related administrative experience is required; preferably with oncology, surgery, and/or breast health background. Demonstrated proficiency of the English language, both written and verbal, is required. Must have excellent communication skills as there is a high degree of interaction with patients and a variety of disciplines at all levels of the organization. Strong computer skills required: including proficiency in Netcare, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Connect Care, Schregistrar, Compass Rose. Accurate typing with a minimum speed of 50 wpm is required. Medical Terminology certificate required. Experience in high volume data entry and records/information management. Adaptable and team-oriented with a strong customer service focus. Ability to function effectively in a highly dynamic environment, including working under pressure, adapting and responding to changing priorities and meeting deadlines. Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team. Able to work all shifts as operationally required. Proven reliability and dependability. The incumbent will be working in a unique and, at times, highly emotional environment which requires a calm and patient demeanor. Must be physically able to carry out the duties of the position. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Connect Care, Schregistrar, Compass Rose is preferred.
