Your Opportunity:
Under the direction of the Manager of the Calgary Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Clinic, the Administrative Support III, is responsible to provide reception, clerical, and office duties to support the STI Clinic and Partner Notification Nurses. High client volumes and multiple demands in this role require strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily workload. Effective, sensitive communication is a continuous demand of this position. This position processes a high volume of public and client inquiries and is the initial point of contact for all services offered at the STI Clinic. This role requires flexibility and the ability to troubleshoot and independently problem-solve on a daily basis a variety of issues related to ordering and receiving supplies, invoicing, data entry, callers, couriers, and mail delivery systems. Accuracy and efficiency are necessary for this role as data entered in the STI database provide the information necessary for reporting locally, provincially, and nationally (surveillance system).
