Your opportunity is in the Rehabilitation Medicine department supporting a fast paced, dynamic, multi-disciplinary ambulatory care team. As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:
Our successful candidate needs to be a good communicator working with a variety of disciplines supporting ambulatory clients. The ability to navigate various appointment schedules, being the first point of contact with our clients, providing efficient admin support and organizing our departmental functions are essential, but also very rewarding in this very motivated and high functioning team. Day to day tasks includes managing various program ambulatory schedules, receiving and acknowledging referrals, receiving calls from clients, physicians, other professionals and team members, and navigating their needs. Registration, scheduling, support and way-finding is very important. The incumbent must accurately schedule appointments following departmental procedures and guidelines identified. This is a high paced environment with a variety of assignments to complete in diverse teams. Preferred Qualifications:
High school graduation and successful completion of post-secondary training. Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and an ability to navigate resources within our city, the health care system and surrounding areas. Experience in Connect Care would be a significant advantage. Our successful candidate needs to be reliable, consistent and efficient. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, to receive and relay messages from physicians, staff and the public.
