Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Care Manager Seniors Health, The Administrative Support III performs a variety of clerical functions to support the Seniors Health Home Care Program. Responsibilities include meeting preparation and minute taking, provide computer and administrative support to managers and staff, assisting with payroll and processing, assisting with organizing office supplies & equipment, providing general secretarial and reception support and other duties assigned. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. diploma/degree in office of business administration, public health, community health) Required to submit a copy of a valid driver's license, drivers abstract and have access to a vehicle with valid business insurance for use in the course of daily duties. Experience in scheduling. Experience in customer service including strong communication skills. Willing and able to work independently and as part of a team. Possess strong organizational/multi-tasking skills. Proficiency in computer programs (Word, Excel, Meditech, ESP, E-people). Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years related office experience. Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team an asset. Payroll experience an asset. Supply acquisition experience an asset. Seniors health/home care experience an asset.
