About the role We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an Administrative Support to join our growing team for a 12 Month Contract! As an Administrative Support in our Facilities West Department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day facilities and administrative duties for maintaining a clean & organized workplace. Tasks will be completed in a time efficient manner with appropriate communication including escalating any building-related items to staff and/or management at the local regional office, This role reports directly to the Facilities Manager. This position does require the successful candidate to work in office 5 days a week (Monday-Friday), 35 hours a week, based out of our downtown Calgary Office location.
You Will:

  • Effectively deliver facility services as it relates to both day-to-day activities and project based tasks.
  • Respond to requests and issues regarding building and/or furniture as reported by local regional staff and management.
  • Organize and coordinate security cards, building requirements, liaising with security.
  • Work in Oracle to process & reconcile invoices and spreadsheets.
  • Assist in office moves, furniture reconfigures and special projects as required.
  • Work closely with the Office Services team.
  • Support general business operations by providing various administrative support activities as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines in the Administrative Services Function.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or customer service based function
  • Must be able to work outside of core business hours as needed
  • Flexible and able adjust to the changing business needs
  • Strong attention to detail and able to raise concerns before they become issues
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Office) and able to navigate multiple systems
  • Knowledge and experience using Oracle is an asset
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
