Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized
Administrative Support - AP/AR & Data Entry
professional to join our team in Calgary, AB. This role will play a key part in supporting our finance and operations teams by assisting with Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and data entry tasks. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong administrative background, basic accounting knowledge, and a high level of accuracy and efficiency. This position is Monday-Friday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the day-to-day processing of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Perform accurate and timely data entry of invoices, payments, and financial records
Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices for payment processing
Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding payments or discrepancies
Generate and distribute customer invoices
Monitor AR aging and assist with collections efforts as needed
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents
Provide general administrative support to the finance and operations teams
Assist with reporting, documentation, and other clerical tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in an administrative, accounting, or clerical role
Prior experience with AR/AP processes is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) is an asset
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
