Full-Time Administration & Resource Support



(contract up to 18 months)





Brampton Caledon Community Living, a recognized leader in developmental services, is seeking an energetic, skilled individual to provide full-time administration and resource support to managerial teams and service areas.


The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, customer service and reception experience and working knowledge of Word and Excel and other computer applications


The ideal candidate is people oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, problem -solve, and provide co-workers, visitors and callers with a professional, welcoming experience.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES



General assistance to visitors and clients. Respond to a high volume of internal/external calls and transfer calls to the appropriate staff member, tracking staff, if necessary, to ensure high priority calls are dealt with immediately. Handle general office duties, respond to emails, data entry and reporting. Ensure a professional appearance of all areas of the office. Manage the filing system, archiving, maintain hard and electronic files and ensure they are current. Coordinate all incoming/outgoing mail and courier packages. Maintain and purchase office supply inventory. Provide proficient administrative support to the management team. Prepare, review and modify general templates, letters, reports, presentations, documents, and worksheets. Assist with presentations and provide support on special projects. Develop a thorough understanding of internal programs and processes. Assist administrative team members. All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS



An undergraduate degree from an accredited university or a community college diploma. Minimum 1-2 years office experience. Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint etc. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to deal with sensitive materials with tact and discretion. Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks to meet deadlines. A personal vehicle required to occasionally run office errands. An up-to-date, Clear Police Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check. Fluency in French is an asset.
