Apply today to join our team!As an Administrative Program Assistant with VCH you will:

• Work as part of an Performs a variety of administrative and secretarial support functions for the Administrative Manager and designated program team members.
• Perform duties including, screening incoming materials, drafting correspondence, typing a variety of technical and non-technical documents utilizing word processing, spreadsheet and graphic software, maintaining database of accounts, preparing cheque requisitions, compiling reports on statistical information, and processing timekeeping records for designated team members.

QualificationsEducation & Experience

• Grade 12, graduation from a recognized Office Administration Certificate Program, plus three years\xe2\x80\x99 recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Knowledge & Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of office practices and procedures.
• Knowledge and proficiency in relevant software. (Word, Excel, graphic applications)
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Ability to Business writing skills.
• Ability to type at 50 wpm.
• Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others.
• Ability to do basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
