Urbanspace Property Group maintains and operates 401 Richmond St. West in Toronto. As a mission-driven developer our initiatives are directed toward the preservation and restoration of a historic and architecturally significant space with the goal of adaptively reusing the building to provide commercial opportunities for the creative sector. Urbanspace also incorporates sustainable building efforts and a commitment to environmentally sound practices in the restoration, operation, and maintenance of 401 Richmond. The building provides spaces for the arts and social innovation communities and fosters the development of an inspiring integration of commerce, culture, and community.

Overview



We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented

Administrative Professional

to take on a

2-year, full-time contract

in our property management office operating within a creative arts hub. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by provide administrative support to our staff and taking on cross-functional duties. This role is a dynamic position that requires strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multitask and adapt based on changing circumstances.

Duties



- Provide administrative support to the leasing and property manager, including assisting with special projects as they may arise.

- Read and respond to emails from colleagues, tenants, and the public in a professional manner

- Office Reception duties on occasion, including emails, phone lines & in-person customer service

- Provide support on various accounts payable and receivable functions

- Providing general clerical support such as filing, scanning, and data entry

- Organizing and scheduling meetings, appointments, and tenant amenity bookings, including event spaces

- Cross-train with other administrative roles within the organization to enable you to provide coverage and support for other team members as required.

Skills



- Post secondary education or equivalent (business related studies will take priority)

- Experience in an administrative or office setting preferred

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Strong clerical skills, including data entry, filing, and document management

- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and multitask as required

- Confident working with technology and proficient in MS Office (word, excel, Powerpoint, Outlook). Comfortable learning new software.

- Ability to adapt and be flexible within your workload as projects and priorities change.

Salary will be negotiated based on the candidate's qualifications. A benefits package will be available after the competition of a three-month probation period. Paid vacation and sick days are available.

Pay: From $56,000.00 per year
