Administrative Assistant / Production Supervisor
to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role ideal for someone who can manage both administrative functions and support production floor operations when required.
About the Role
This dual-role position requires a highly organized individual who can handle front office responsibilities while also supporting and supervising the production team. You'll work closely with both office and shop personnel to ensure efficient communication and workflow across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Front desk reception: greet clients, answer and direct phone calls and emails
Prepare and manage documentation such as estimates, invoices, schedules, and work orders
Coordinate meetings, handle courier services, and manage incoming/outgoing mail
Maintain filing systems and assist with payroll and other office functions
Process and input production orders into scheduling systems
Production Supervision Duties:
Support production line as needed during peak times or staff shortages
Organize, direct, and train production staff to ensure quality and efficiency
Monitor production flow and troubleshoot minor issues as they arise
Communicate clearly with both office and shop teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment
Uphold workplace safety and help implement standard operating procedures
Qualifications & Skills
Strong working knowledge of
Microsoft Office
(Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with
QuickBooks
or similar accounting software preferred
Proven ability to lead and train others in a production environment
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, multitasking role
Prior experience in manufacturing, millwork, or similar environment is an asset

Wage Range:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour (depending on experience)
