OverviewWe are looking for an Administrative Coordinator for the Innovation Technology, Analytics and Property (ITAP) division at WorkSafeBC in our Richmond head office.In this role, youxe2x80x99ll use a high level of discretion and tact in handling confidential and sensitive management information related to WorkSafeBCxe2x80x99s operations and regulations.   • Support the director by performing administrative tasks, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, conferences, events, and assisting the management team as needed.
  • Manage and maintain departmental organizational chart, SharePoint sites, Distribution lists.
  • Coordinate divisional safety meetings.
  • Record, organize and prepare complex and confidential reports and meeting minutes
  • Compose written responses, memos, minutes, presentations, and communications from both verbal and printed sources.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and assist in tracking expenses and vacation schedules for the management team.
  • Receive, screen and refer incoming inquiries and correspondence from internal and external sources. Answer routine inquiries with respect to departmental activities
  • Assist with any onboarding and offboarding related activities for employees and contractors, including arranging equipment and corresponding access.

Your background and experience
  • Completion of grade 12; some post-secondary education in Business or Business Administration is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience in an administrative role supporting senior management and/or Director level operations
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
