We are pleased to announce that we are expanding our long term care options in the Moncton region with the opening of Gordon Hall, a 60-bed licenced nursing home that will be located on the North End of Moncton, in Spring 2023.

We are searching for a permanent full-time Administrative Coordinator (Front Desk & Admin) to join our Gordon Hall team based in Moncton , New Brunswick.

About the Opportunity

  • Answers and transfers telephone inquiries, greets and directs visitors;
  • Printing order/delivery sheets & working closely with the nursing management team to ensure supply inventory is maintained and replenished;
  • Active screening of employees and visitors (Covid-19);
  • Sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail and couriers;
  • Prepares resident information for admission & discharges;
  • Maintaining office supplies for front desk & nursing stations;
  • Track weekly physician visits & handle billing;
  • Ensures client safety by following and applying all standard operational procedures, safe work practices and training provided
  • Interacts and supports residents, family members, and visitors;
  • Maintain resident, employee, and external stakeholder phone lists
About You

In addition to placing a high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

  • High School / GED completion;
  • Fluent English is required (written & spoken), French is considered a very strong asset;
  • Excellent computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Previous hospitality/customer service experience is an asset, especially with seniors;
  • A friendly outgoing spirit is required;
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology is considered an asset;
  • Required to be available for day, evening and weekend shifts as required;
  • A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
