About the Role:



As the face of Kamloops Truss, you'll be more than just a receptionist - you'll be the go-to person, the vibe curator, and the administrative backbone that keeps our front office running smoothly.

This role includes:

Managing the front desk with a warm and professional approach Assisting with accounts receivable/payable and data entry Helping coordinate employee milestones (birthdays, anniversaries, gift tracking) Supporting internal teams with various administrative duties Growing your skills with internal training and opportunities to expand into other admin or finance roles

Key Responsibilities



Be the first point of contact for all visitors and calls - delivering excellent service every time Accurately process customer payments and assist with basic AR/AP tasks Maintain digital and physical organization of documents and files Celebrate our team by tracking birthdays, anniversaries, and coordinating gift baskets and cards Communicate clearly with internal departments to ensure smooth operations Support the HR and Finance teams with various administrative projects Maintain a tidy, professional, and welcoming front office environment

Qualifications



1+ year of Reception or Administrative experience (AR/AP exposure is a plus) Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and office equipment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities High school diploma required; post-secondary education in administration or bookkeeping is an asset
