We are looking for new members to join our team in a Care Support role! Kindred Home Care provides short and long term home support services, and respite care to individuals and families in the areas of personal care, activities of daily living, companionship, medication reminders, end of life care and home management. In the role of Care Support, you will play a supporting role to members of the broader Kindred Home Care Team. This is an entry level role, performed remotely from home. You will function as a key member of the Zone 2 team, supporting the Local Care Coordinators with scheduling, phone coverage and account management. Role Responsibilities:

  • Work Collaboratively with other Zone Supports to deal with all delegated tasks appropriately and effectively
  • Completing daily scheduling and rescheduling tasks as required
  • Regional and Area Phone coverage as required by Zone Team
  • Supporting overall fulfillment of hours in the zone
  • Ensure any communication that comes in is dealt with appropriately
  • Participate in After-hours, Holiday and Weekend coverage Rotation
  • Use excellent verbal and written communication skills to establish genuine connections with internal team members and external customers
  • General Administration as required; data collection, data entry and data maintenance
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Comfort with Technology
  • Scheduling experience is considered an asset
  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively over the telephone, pleasant telephone manner and attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be emphatic and tactful
  • Experience with Salesforce would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work from home with minimal supervision
  • Positive, flexible and Reliable
  • Must live in the Zone 2 area (Saint John and Surrounding areas)
Hours: The role of Care Support provides support for our 24/7 operations and will share the responsibility of weekend and Holiday coverage through pre-booked scheduled shifts and on call support.
