as an
administrative assistant/receptionist
. The ideal candidate will assist two to three solicitors with various administrative tasks, including greeting clients, managing phone calls, scheduling, responding to inquires, drafting documents, and managing client files. The role is essential to maintaining the efficiency of our operations and supporting our real estate, corporate and estate planning work. In this position, you are vital to ensuring that all documentation is accurate and well-organized, and as the first point of contact for our clients, you are key to creating a welcoming office atmosphere.
What You Bring:
A positive, client-service and solution-focused mindset with ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
Strong attention to detail and verbal /written communication skills
Ability to work well independently following established procedures and also collaboratively as part of a small staff team where reliability and accountability matter
Diploma/ experience in office administration /legal assistant would be an asset; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools; specifically Word, Excel (basic), and Outlook; familiarity with legal software/programs is an asset
