As a Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the organization. Here is how you will do that: Bookkeeper:
Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts & credit cards.
Reconciliation of expense reports, bank accounts, and credit card statements monthly.
Processing of both accounts receivable and accounts payable, including issuing invoices, processing payments, and responding to customer and vendor inquiries.
Maintenance of all supporting documentation including filing, scanning, and ensuring all documents related to financial activities are accounted for and current.
Working with staff in other departments to ensure timely and accurate information.
Assistance in Balance Sheet and Income Statement consolidation (Prepaid, Accruals & Fixed Assets)
Assist the Finance Manager in maintaining and updating the general ledger while preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Onboarding & off-boarding of employees.
Administration:
Answer phone calls, return messages.
Respond to emails in a timely manner.
Schedule team meetings, arrange meeting space, manage facilities vendors, track subscriptions/assets etc.
Other responsibilities as requested.
The role requires:
Diploma or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Bookkeeping, Accounting or Finance
High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced business.
Customer service mindset towards both internal teams and external customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Highly efficient and effective at communicating \xe2\x80\x93 both written and verbal.
Proficiency with QuickBooks (online) software
Proficient in MS Office Suite (expert in Excel).
Strong initiative, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
