Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented

Administrative Assistant with bookkeeping experience

to join our team for a 3-month contract with the possibility of a permanent position. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing both administrative and financial responsibilities. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day office support while assisting with bookkeeping functions such as processing payables, managing financial records, and ensuring accurate documentation. As a key support role within the business, this position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Duties



Process accounts payable, including expense reports, daily invoices, and credit card reconciliations. Support daily bookkeeping activities and assist with financial recordkeeping Provide general office administration, including responding to internal inquiries and supporting staff needs Manage incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and email correspondence, ensuring timely distribution to the appropriate recipients Maintain accurate filing systems and assist with additional bookkeeping tasks as required (e.g., accounts payable/receivable entries, balance sheet updates) Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the office environment.

Requirements



Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently A driven and proactive multitasker Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills Willingness to learn additional skills and complete other duties as assigned
