Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Bookkeeper to join our administrative team. This role is vital in supporting the financial and clerical functions of our office, ensuring accurate record-keeping and smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, experience with bookkeeping software, and excellent organizational abilities to contribute effectively to our office environment.

Duties



Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and billing processes Support bookkeeping tasks such as bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and financial reporting Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, and organizing documents Handle front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and managing multi-line phone systems Provide customer service support by addressing inquiries professionally and courteously Support administrative functions such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and proofreading documents Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems for easy retrieval of information Assist with medical or dental office procedures as needed, including patient check-in and support for dental receptionist duties

Skills



Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Google Workspace applications Strong computer skills with experience in data entry, typing, and proofreading Previous clerical or administrative experience, ideally within a medical or dental office setting Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and experience managing multi-line phone systems Ability to handle filing tasks efficiently and support front desk operations effectively Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and experience supporting financial transactions Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and accuracy

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
