Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper



The Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper is responsible for bookkeeping tasks and will provide assistance and support with HLL administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Qualities required:



Experience with bookkeeping software is an asset although training can be provided for the right candidate. Excellent English skills Excellent Computer skills including word, excel, power point, and Facebook. Previous administrative experience would be an asset Excellent communications skills both written and oral. Ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and accurately in a team environment. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Position term:

24 hours per week temporary position to cover maternity leave.

There will also be an opportunity to sub in other positions and do extra hours for the right candidate.

Salary:

Corresponding with experience

Base rate $22.00 per hour

About the position:



The Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper is responsible for bookkeeping tasks and will provide assistance and support for HLL administrative tasks.

Duties of the Assistant/Bookkeeper.



Assist with general administrative duties of Houston Link to Learning as assigned. Responsible for all bookkeeping duties Maintenance of the organization Facebook Page to include regular posts. Assist with the process for receipts and maintaining spreadsheets. Ensure that all timesheets are in and ready to be processed for payroll. Ensure that all receipts and payment requests are processed in a timely manner. Assist Program Coordinators with programs and events as required.

General Duties



Attend job related in-services, workshops and meetings as required. Maintain statistical records of all activities. Attends staff meetings. Maintain confidentiality at all times. Participates in program evaluation. Perform other related tasks and duties as required.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
