This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in an collaborative office environment and has a background in property management and enjoys supporting owners, boards, and managers through strong administrative coordination. You will assist with day-to-day communications, documentation, scheduling, and owner support across a portfolio of properties.

The Opportunity
The successful candidate will begin by supporting and shadowing our current Property Manager's, gaining hands-on experience in day-to-day condominium operations. During this period, you'll be exposed to all aspects of administration, client relations, and site management.
As training progresses, you will gradually take ownership of the coordination and administration of the portfolio, while working as a part of a close-knit team.
A key goal of this role is to contribute to Sussex Realty's growing portfolio. As you gain confidence and experience, you'll play an important part in strengthening our reputation while helping expand our presence in Winnipeg's condominium market.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for operations
Draft and distribute correspondence, notices, and meeting materials
Organize schedules, follow-ups, and document management
Maintain electronic and physical records, work orders, and owner files
Liaise with owners, residents, contractors, and board members
Assist with meeting coordination, minutes, and action tracking
Support maintenance coordination and service requests
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience in a property management offices, real estate, or related environments
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities (an asset)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with Yardi or similar property management software (an asset)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-focused with strong follow-through
Operational Coordination
Assist with site inspections and follow-up on outstanding items
Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor scheduling
Support monitoring of budgets, invoices, and financial reporting
Aid in bylaw enforcement and documentation tracking
Client and Team Support
Serve as a point of contact for owners, residents, and contractors in assigned properties
Build professional relationships with boards and stakeholders
Assist in onboarding and administration of new condominium corporations
Qualifications
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Yardi is an asset.
Post-secondary education in business, or property management is an asset.
Prior experience in administration, customer service, or real estate/property management preferred but not required.
