Job Overview


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical and customer service skills, with experience in office management, data entry, and using various software tools. This role is essential in maintaining efficient daily workflows, managing correspondence, and providing exceptional support to staff and clients. Experience with medical or dental office procedures is a plus, but not required. The position offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where organizational skills and attention to detail are highly valued.

Duties



Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and specialized software such as QuickBooks Maintain organized filing systems both digitally and physically, ensuring easy retrieval of documents Assist with bookkeeping and basic financial record-keeping for the office Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries and providing support via phone or email Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings efficiently Proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents for accuracy and clarity Handle administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, faxing, and mailing documents Support medical or dental office operations if applicable, including patient record management and appointment scheduling Maintain a professional front desk presence and uphold excellent phone etiquette while managing multi-line phone systems

Experience



Proven clerical or administrative experience in an office setting is preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping software is a plus Strong computer skills including data entry, document proofreading, and file management Prior customer service experience demonstrating effective communication skills Knowledge of medical or dental office procedures is advantageous but not mandatory Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally in a fast-paced environment Previous experience working at a front desk or as a receptionist is desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
