Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting daily office operations, managing administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, experience with office software, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Prior experience in medical or dental offices is a plus, but not required. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where organizational skills and attention to detail are highly valued.

Responsibilities



Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools Handle filing, document proofreading, and general clerical duties to ensure smooth office workflow Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks and other accounting software Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries and providing support via phone or email Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings for staff or clients Maintain organized office supplies and ensure the office environment remains professional and welcoming Support medical or dental office functions as needed, including patient check-in/out and insurance documentation

Skills



Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications Strong computer skills with experience in data entry, filing, and document proofreading Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills for front desk interactions Clerical experience in an office setting, especially in medical or dental offices, is highly desirable Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and correspondence Ability to support administrative functions such as scheduling, filing, and customer support with professionalism and efficiency
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 per week
