Job Description

To work as a successful school administrative assistant, you need to possess knowledge of office management techniques and have some information on modern office practices in an academic understanding of school office practices. Oversee, coordinate, and perform day-to-day school administrative functions.

Reception



Answer general phone inquiries professionally and courteously about the institution Reply to general information requests with the accurate information Greet visitors to the organization in a professional and friendly manner

Office administration



Provide administrative assistance to the Administrator/Program Manager Use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software for the institution Prepare and maintain student records and ensure that they are updated regularly Prepare student's admission package, record student payments Sort incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries for distribution Maintain student's attendance Prepare and send outgoing faxes, mail, and packages Relay voice mail from the general mailbox to the appropriate staff member Data entry and upkeep of the organization's databases, ensuring a high level of accuracy Deal with the administration of admission tests to new students Completing enrolment contracts with students Provide support to teachers and office staff Routinely audit students' files to ensure that all requirements are up to date. Collect payment from students Arrange for students to go on clinical placement Performing other related duties to promote the quality of the student experience

QUALIFICATIONS



Degree or College diploma in Office Administration 2-3 years of administrative and school experience, ideally in a private college. Must be proficient in MS Office Working knowledge and experience with social media, i.e. Instagram, and Facebook, is a bonus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and demeanour Highly organized and task-oriented. Self-motivated; capable of working independently, responsible, reliable, flexible, and accountable
