The Role:
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our Life & Benefits team. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks with efficiency and professionalism. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks, ensuring smooth workflow. This is a contract position for a 1-year term (with possibility of extension or becoming permanent full-time).
The Requirements:
The ideal candidate will meet many to most of the following requirements:
Education: High School Diploma.
Experience: One year of administrative experience (preferred).
Skills:
o Comfort with managing multiple demands, with proven organizational, time-management and prioritization skills. Strong written and verbal communication with a customer service focus.
o Able to quote with ease, process new business, and maneuver portals.
o Confidence and comfort in phoning existing company clients and setting appointments to meet or discuss insurance solutions with licensed advisors
Corporate Cultural: A team player with a client-centric approach, ready to deliver great service. A positive attitude with the flexibility to support the team with any ad-hoc needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage documents and reports ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Updating all files, scanning files to a shared drive, and sending hard copies to brokers.
Phoning and emailing existing PROLINK clients to engage interest in, and set appointments for discussing life and employee benefit insurance with PROLINK's licensed life advisors and updating the life advisor calendars
Support team members in various projects, including research, data analysis, and coordination of cross-functional teams.
Handle sensitive information with discretion and always maintain confidentiality.
