This role reports to the Athletics Director and supports the overall management of the Athletics department and student athletes.
Responsibilities

Executive Assistant to Athletics Director
Manages the day-to-day operational and administrative activities of the Director by organizing the incoming flow of work, prioritizing incoming requests, maintaining a control system, and following-up to ensure timely response.
Office Manager
Manage financial administration and record keeping for all financial obligation of the office, including reconciliation, requisitions, payments and deposits.
Administer student employment subsidies, maintain accurate part time employee records and reports.
Organize, coordinate and manage all department events and travel requirements; including attending events and transcribing minutes and more.
Support and attend all athletic department committees.
Coordinate, plan and assist in managing all department events and campaigns.
Coordinate all volunteers for events and initiatives.
Sports Administration
Collect and manage student athlete information, including eligibility and team rosters.
Coordination annual orientation.
Liaise with provincial and national sports institutions.
Administrative Assistance
Perform general office reception, prepare reports and be the main point of contact for the department.
Monitor and distribute information to staff and members.
Communicate, liaise and coordinate information to the general public.
Marketing, Advertising, IT & Special Projects
Assist in the design of advertising and promotional materials.
Design and distribute media kits.
Maintain and support in-house information and website.
Assist, coordinate, organize, research for special projects as they arise.

Qualifications
------------------
Two years of experience in similar administrative role
Strong organizational and administrative skills to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Ability to multi-task; adapt to change, including work inte1TUption
Excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with general public, students, prospective students & parents,
administration, faculty, coaching and departmental staff.
Work independently or as a team member
Work with minimal supervision, a self starter
Must have demonstrated proficiency in a wide variety of office and computer equipment (software & hardware) and
able to identify trends.
Strong accounting/finance background
Ability to create presentations. reports and spreadsheets
